Job Description
Ensure implementation of HSMS
Provision of safety awareness training to Project personnel concerning HSMS, Work instructions, risk assessment.
Provide HS inductions and sessions for individuals assuming responsibilities of Project Manager and Site Inspector.
Respond to complaints regarding Sub-Contractors activities that may impact the safety of employees and visitors.
Any Engineer who observes any Safety violation shall inform concerned person that the activity must be immediately stopped until appropriate corrective actions are implemented. The EHS Engineer will immediately contact the QHSE Manager to explain the circumstances of the work stoppage, and that issue shall be documented by the end of that work day.
Notify the QHSE Manager of any observed or reported HSE concern by NCR’s log monthly Safety committee meeting.
Do site safety inspection to ensure performance off safety engineer and safety officers.
Issue NCRs for any safety violation to get a Issue work permit to guarantee a safe working environment.
Implementation of the Occupational HSE Plan, to upgrade safety where possible and required along with the progress of the Project, inspect working areas to detect and correct unsafe or unhealthy situations and organize education and awareness of the workforce and all other staff.
Organize daily HSE inspections and report unsafe situations and monitor implementation of remedial actions as recommended.
